SOS This is an emergency call to action!!!

A NEAR TOTAL ban on abortion (HB 7/SB 300) is 100% expected to pass in Florida. The House bill may be heard Thursday on the house floor, and could be voted on that same day or Friday. WHETHER YOU HAVE A UTERUS OR NOT, PLEASE DON'T LET THEM LEGISLATE OUR BODIES WITHOUT A FIGHT!!!

Drop whatever you’re doing next week and GET TO TALLY! We are calling on all supporters of freedom to join the #OccupyTally movement protesting the abortion ban soon to be passed in Florida. The first Occupy Tally demonstration made international headlines last Monday night when Senator Lauren Book and FDP Chair Nikki Fried were arrested along with 9 other demonstrators, including one brave ally without a uterus.

With the world watching us now, we need this second demonstration to be even bigger!

WHAT: Occupy space near the Capitol Tallahassee to protest the near total abortion ban extremists in Florida's legislature are moving forward with. Meals and beverages will be provided. We are committed to ensuring both meat and vegan options are available.

WHEN: 8am 4/10- 9pm 4/14. We need you to be there all week, or Thursday and Friday at a MINIMUM. The organization Florida NOW has been granted a permit for our #OccupyTally demonstration to be held outside of the County Courthouse, starting Monday 4/10 at 8am and concluding Friday 4/14 at 9pm. If the House has not voted on the abortion ban by Friday evening, we will apply for an extension to the permit. Although our opposition has locked in a majority of politicians, we must not let abortion be nearly totally banned without resistance!

WHERE: Leon County Courthouse. There are plenty of hotels nearby if you need it, or bring your campaign gear and join us for this multi-day and night protest. Overnight parking is allowed at the Kleman Plaza and Republic parking garages just a short walk to the Courthouse. If you lose your ticket the cost is only $7.

Transportation Assistance for groups and individuals is available! If you would like to organize your group to attend, we do have funds to pay for you to rent a car or van, as well as cover your gas for the trip. If you need to be reimbursed for your gas we can Venmo you immediately. Please email indivisiblemiami@gmail.com for transportation assistance.
