Most Floridians believe that all people, no matter what we look like or where we come from, deserve the rights, freedoms, and opportunities to control our lives at the most basic level: our bodies, our families, and our life’s path – and that includes the right and the ability to have an abortion.

The abortion ban that recently went into effect in Texas is unacceptable for people there, and it is certainly unacceptable for Floridians. Yet some Florida legislative leaders are planning to make it the law here in our state.
