Tell Florida State Senators: Abortion is Health Care #StopTheBans

Reproductive freedom in Florida is in peril more than ever. The abortion ban bill (HB 5 / SB 146), modeled after the notorious Mississippi abortion ban and prohibiting abortion at 15 weeks or beyond, has passed through the Florida House. Action now moves to the Senate.

Every Floridian should be able to make their own decisions about their health and their bodies — including whether to get an abortion. Florida senators need to understand that abortion is essential health care and that everyone deserves the freedom to control their lives, bodies, families, and life’s path, including the right and ability to have an abortion.
