Please confirm your local event's details as some event times have changed. We added two new events in Jacksonville and St. Augustine. The Fort Lauderdale event was cancelled, but participants are encouraged to attend our other south Florida events in Lake Worth or Miami. Our apologies for any inconvenience. There is no Tallahassee event today as we were participating in yesterday’s successful Moral Monday rally.
On the opening day of Florida's legislative session - Tuesday, March 4th - locally-led Awake The State events will rally hard working Floridians. Participants and speakers alike will call on Gov. Scott and his allies in the Tea Party-controlled Legislature to pass a budget that invests in restoring the middle class, not more corporate giveaways.
